This is a super personal song I made in response to the second hand trauma I was encountering and struggling with. Trying to put band aids over bone deep crises can take a toll. I’m happy that my brothers Gurt and Calvin could bring this vision to life. I’ve been sitting on it for a year and as Gurt would say it’s time. RIP to everyone I’ve lost and my condolences to everybody with that wound, that gaping hole of grief, that can never seem to heal. I’m hoping this song can provide an escape, validation and maybe even an alternative
