"This was my first SUN Conference. With money tight at my organization, I hadn't previously participated, but I'm so glad I invested in my own education. The increased knowledge on myriad issues, especially the insights into federal changes, made this the best ROI during my tenure." Wow! This was sent to us by a 2025 SUN conference attendee. Next week, we are excited to welcome 175 CTAA members from 39 states to Washington, DC, for our annual Legislative Fly-in! This event is crucial for bringing the unique stories of rural, small city, tribal, and specialized transit directly to Congressional offices, making a significant impact on funding, regulations, and appropriations.

A highlight of the week will be the members of the 2026 CTAA Leadership Academy (Cohort 8) culminating their week-long learning by attending congressional meetings on Capitol Hill alongside transit leaders from their states.

Additionally, this year introduces a new, exciting event: The Summit. This one-day retreat is exclusively for top leadership, with CEOs, GMs, and Executive Directors from 51 transit agencies set to attend. Attendees can look forward to high-level keynote speakers, panel discussions, and sessions designed to provide actionable insights and inspiration.
