In a Washington Post Live conversation, Mastercard CEO Michael Miebach said the company anticipates “healthy consumer spending” to continue this year even amid geopolitical and economic tensions. “As long as people are employed and they get a paycheck, they spend.” said Miebach.
National Institutes of Health (NIH) director Jay Bhattacharya discussed how AI tools can help both patients and doctors. “I don't think the promise is to replace doctors, but rather when you go in to see your doctor, you'll be more well-informed, and you can ask the right questions,” Bhattacharya told Washington Post Live
