Luke 2:22-24

I had the opportunity a few Saturdays ago to try my hand at a quick mural in collaboration with Lena Lorenz for a graduate project at Georgetown. It was incredibly fun to try something so big and fast and have conversations with all the fine folks in DC that stopped by. If you are in DC go check it out!

Had the opportunity to see and in Dallas on Friday night. The show was incredibly moving. I sat in the corner drawing the whole time. It was an absolutely beautiful was to end an incredible week.

Before leaving for our trip to Paris we watched a lot of YouTube videos about Paris - what to do, where to eat etc. we particularly watched videos by a guy with a YouTube channel called .in.my.pocket . We would watch a video of his almost every night with the kids and talk about the trip.His videos were awesome and our kids loved talking about the suggestions he had (especially finding space invader art) Right when we got here we told the kids we were gonna play a game — if you found any bald man with a handlebar mustache and round glasses you got a prize, if you found the YouTuber from Paris in my pocket, you won the game. I never thought we’d actually see him. But we bumped into him today! Amazing.
