This morning, Trump signed a bill funding ICE and CBP through 2029. It has not been funded directly since February. We thank the members of Congress who made this happen!

It's taken months to get ICE funding passed. Finally!
Rep. Lateefah Simon (D-CA) compares ICE to Jim Crow. Let's be done with this and get ICE funded. Mistakes are made on occasion, but that doesn't mean the whole agency needs to be shut down!

The Senate also voted on two attempts to attach the SAVE America Act to the budget reconciliation bill, but failed both times. The SAVE America Act would require a valid ID to vote and documentary proof of citizenship when registering to vote. The amendments needed 60 votes to pass.
