On Wednesday May 24th, The Setting will be hosting an exclusive, multi-course Wine Dinner with pairings from our friends at Billecart-Salmon. They have celebrated over 200 years of history and
savoir-faire marked by perseverance and a quest for excellence. For
seven generations, their descendants have dedicated themselves to quality. They have been the committed Wine Guardians through the
centuries of exacting standards and with a passion renewed - for the vine,
the terroir and the art of winemaking. Our menu will feature the the finest produce and foraged products from Virginia, as well as some of the most luxurious seafood and proteins from around the world. The tasting menu will begin at 6pm, and includes 6 courses along with wine pairings- to book a reservation check us out on Tock or hit “Reserve” on our profile! We’re opening our doors on Monday, May 1st for a fun night with the lovely team of Darroze Armagnacs.
For those unaware, Armagnacs Francis Darroze have been ageing and selling fine Armagnac in Roquefort, in the heart of the Landes region, for two generations. This family business has built up a fine reputation for quality and expertise and as you all know, The Setting is also a family run business so you can only imagine the excitement we have for this collaborative evening.

Come by and support The Setting’s own, Devin Felli who will be competing in the DC Bartender Mixology Competition by Maïz 64 and DC Spot!
Each competitor will be showcasing their personal creation with a focus on Mexican distillates.
The first round of the competition will be on April 4th and the final round will be held on April 11th. Each attendee will receive 2 crafted cocktails and 2 appetizers throughout the competition then followed by 12 small cocktails throughout the event to sample and judge.
We are proud of Devin for his continued pursuit of fine beverage and hope to see you there to support the amazing bar specialists that DC has to offer!

Beginning April 12th, we will be offering a seasonal A La Carte menu throughout the entire restaurant and bar. Yes, you heard us right. You can now order food at any time, Wednesday to Saturday, regardless of if you’re enjoying beverages at our bespoke bar, or coming to celebrate a special occasion with loved ones.
We are committed to providing the highest standards in all our offerings. Our food will continue to reflect our values of sourcing with intention and creating with the best that the world has to offer.
