A $1.8 BILLION presidential slush fund is a slap in the face to hardworking Americans who expect accountability from politicians, not using public office to cash in.
Congress must act NOW to immediately block this fund, protect taxpayer dollars, and ensure no future administration can exploit executive power for personal gain.
Common Cause and Public Citizen, joined by Democracy Forward, and members of Congress, are calling for immediate legislative action to block President Trump’s $1.8 billion slush fund, which would use taxpayer dollars to reward Trump’s political allies and insurrectionists who attacked the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
