🐾 Today we’re celebrating the people who speak for those who can’t speak for themselves!
To every vet, vet tech, and clinic team member: thank you for the early mornings, the long surgeries, the gentle hands, and the hard goodbyes. You hold our families together when it matters most. 💛
Happy National Veterinary Appreciation Day! Tag your favorite vet below and tell us how they’ve cared for your pet. ⬇️
Calling all future vets — can you crack the case? 🔍🦴
Radiographs tell a story, and learning to read them is like learning a whole new language. Bone structure, joint placement, body size; every clue points to a different species!
Here’s the cool part: veterinarians work with everything from pocket pets to large livestock, which means they need to recognize the anatomy of dozens of species. It’s one of the things that makes vet med so different from human medicine! 🐹🐎

🐾 It’s National Hug Your Cat Day! 🐾
June 4 is the purr-fect excuse for some extra snuggle time. And turns out those cuddles do more than just feel good. Hugging your cat can help you feel calmer and more relaxed, lowering your risk of heart disease. That purring even has a healing quality to it, and people who sleep with their cats tend to sleep better!
No cat of your own? Visit a neighbor’s or volunteer at a local shelter, because those paw-some critters need love too!
Tag a fellow cat parent and share the love! 💛

Studying matters, but so do morning coffees, phone calls home, and remembering who you are and why you started.
Balance isn’t a reward you earn after finals, it’s the everyday practice that gets you there. What’s one thing keeping YOU grounded in your vet school journey? 👇
