Allyship is a verb, not a noun. Mika Brzezinski, Maggie McGrath and I discuss a new study on Morning Joe that reveals that men who challenge sexism in the workplace boost their reputation.

I recently had the pleasure of chatting with Lily Gladstone and Erica Tremblay about their new Apple TV film, "Fancy Dance." We touched on themes of indigenous representation, family bonds and cultural preservation.

When I was a new mom, I returned to a demanding job with no paid maternity leave. When my stored breastmilk was accidentally tossed before a big meeting, I felt overwhelmed. But with my colleagues' support, I nursed my son during the meeting & got through it.
Having a baby taught me to advocate for myself at work, and I'm grateful for a team that had my back. Moms shouldn't have to choose between their career & their child's needs.
Prioritizing our mental health & setting boundaries is key to thriving as working parents. Let's normalize putting wellness first! 💪❤️

Thrilled to moderate an incredibly inspiring panel at this year’s Vital Voices Festival with three trailblazing women who have shattered glass ceilings: fashion icon Diane von Furstenberg, entertainment powerhouse Donna Langley, Chairman of Universal Studios and media visionary Bonnie Hammer, Vice Chairman of NBCUniversal.
Diane, Donna and Bonnie opened up about their remarkable journeys to the top of their fields. A key lesson that emerged: To make it, you need to be authentically yourself. As Bonnie writes in her insightful new book, "Women were told that in order to make it, we need to fake it. But in order to make it, we need to face it."
Thank you Vital Voices for bringing together these titans of industry to share hard-earned wisdom that will inspire the next generation of female leaders.

Day 1 in Poznan, Poland! What a thought-provoking set of conversations on the Impact CEE stage for the Impact Foundation’s 2024 annual economic and technology conference.
Honored to be in this brilliant conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski to hear his views on our bilateral relationship, the state of the war in Ukraine, the success of the Polish economy, the future of democracy and much more.
And is the end of the world just beginning? We learned the history and theory behind the impact of demographic and geopolitical shifts and what it might mean for the economic, social and cultural future of Europe and beyond. Peter Zeihan, Marci Shore, Krzysztof Krawckyk, Michal Gajewski - we just scratched the surface!

This was a night to remember! Speaking of remembering, do you know who Carrie Chapman Catt was? Ida B. Wells? Alice Paul? If the answer is yes, good. If the answer is no, as most women I ask say, then PLEASE go see Suffs Musical. It’s funny, brilliant, maddening and also a true story about the fight women waged to earn the right to VOTE in this country.
Suffs recently hosted a post-show discussion on the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), featuring iconic women's rights advocates Gloria Steinem and Heidi Schreck, moderated by the brilliant journalist Carol Jenkins. Loved that I could be part of this conversation - a dream for any advocate for equality.
Take your mother, your daughter, your sister, your best friend. So many women came up to me afterwards buzzing with energy. The challenges women face in this struggle are all too familiar to those who have worked in politics and witnessed them firsthand. The ERA, nearly a century in the making, is a crucial step towards enshrining gender equality in the Constitution.
All New Yorkers should support the NY State Equal Rights Amendment this November. Our discussion reaffirmed the importance of creating a just and equitable world for everyone. Together, true equality can become a reality.

At the opening of the The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York’s new exhibit, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” which explores how technology can reframe how we see clothing that is too delicate and old to be worn again.
I wore an elegant ERDEM in my favorite color - one that evokes hope, nature, and new beginnings. Dragonflies and insects adorned it - which are all found in “gardens of time,” and reminds us that transformation is always coming.
With love and immense gratitude 🫶🏼
