For more than fifty years, Foundry Gallery has showcased exceptional contemporary art from some of the Washington, DC region’s most promising emerging and established artists. Foundry offers a rich diversity of original works in a variety of mediums with solo and group exhibits changing monthly, each celebrated with an opening reception. Foundry Gallery also contributes to the community's understanding and appreciation of art through artist talks, art demonstrations, and workshops.

This month at the gallery we hosted a themed exhibit by our members titled “The Art of Love”. Our members explored the concept of love and what it means to them. We challenged them to expand outside the idea of romantic love; to include the love of family, pets, etc. Comment your favorite below!
