Last week, Thrive staff had the honor of being recognized on the Senate floor at the Rhode Island State House as the Rhode Island Senate presented a resolution celebrating Thrive's 50th anniversary.
We are grateful for this recognition and proud of the staff, partners, and supporters who have helped us provide compassionate, person-centered behavioral health care to Rhode Islanders for the past five decades. Here's to 50 years of service and the work still to come🌟

What an incredible evening at Thrive’s Community Block Party! ☀️
Last night, we came together on the beautiful waterfront at Finn’s Harborside to celebrate community, recovery, resilience, and the start of summer. With amazing weather, great music, delicious food, heartfelt conversations, and an atmosphere full of joy and connection, the night was truly unforgettable.
We are deeply grateful to Finn's Harborside for providing such a beautiful venue and welcoming atmosphere for our community to gather and celebrate together.
A special thank you to our courageous guest speaker and our “Resilience in Recovery Award” recipients, who reminded us all of the strength, hope, and perseverance that recovery represents.
We also want to thank our dedicated staff, board members, community members, and everyone who attended and helped make this event possible. Because of your generosity, we were able to raise over $2,000 for Thrive’s Neighbors Helping Neighbors Fund, helping us continue supporting individuals and families in our community when they need it most.
Thank you for kicking off the summer with us in such a meaningful and memorable way. We are so grateful for this community. 💙

Every year, the VA2K Walk & Roll brings communities together to raise awareness about veterans experiencing homelessness and the challenges many face in securing stable housing. This nationally recognized event is a reminder of our shared responsibility to support those who have served our country. By participating, we honor our veterans, promote community engagement, and help shine a light on the resources and services available to those in need.
Thrive's Veteran's Services Team, Patrick, Dave, Barron and Otis all participated in the event. Since January, the team has successfully helped five veterans secure stable housing, demonstrating their dedication to creating meaningful, lasting change in the lives of those who have served our country.
Together, we can make a difference and work toward a future where every veteran has a safe place to call home.

Yesterday’s Lemonade on the Lawn was the perfect kickoff to summer 🍋☀️
With sunshine, sweet treats, music, games, and plenty of laughter, our Thrive staff came together for an afternoon full of connection and fun. It was such a great chance to step away from the day-to-day, enjoy some fresh air, and spend time with coworkers across our organization.
We’re so thankful for moments like these that bring our team together and celebrate the incredible people who make Thrive such a special place every day 💛

We are so excited that one of our staff, Ann Gardner, and the rest of the RI Medical Reserve Corps (RI MRC) were honored by Christina Paxson, President of Brown University, for their response to the Brown University shooting tragedy. The RI MRC is a volunteer group of trained behavioral health specialists designed to integrate behavioral health capabilities directly into emergency operations, helping to stabilize individuals, reduce acute stress responses, and support communities in the aftermath of traumatic events.
