Heard we were going back to 2016..where the selfies were strong, we posted every food pic, was everywhere, and DIYing was a must. It was also the year we got married, our house caught on fire, we jumped from home to home for months, and we bought our first car (which we still have). What a time 😅👏🩷

In March of this year Colton joined the Navy Reserve as a Human Resource Officer. He just completed Officer Development School in Newport, Rhode Island. It has been a trying 5 weeks for him getting a small taste of military life and learning from so many men and women day in and day out. It has also been a difficult 5 weeks for the girls and I who have never been apart from him for near this long and had to spend most of our summer without him. We are so glad to have him home and so proud of him for always chasing his dreams.
Note: he will still continue working in education at the same school and district next year, this is just extra cause he’s an overachiever 😉
