I was supposed to be in Florida this weekend for the Miami Film Festival. The pilot for our show too romantic is premiering TODAY! Ashley and I serve as Executive Producers on it. I may have made a small cameo too (last slide, background, barely can see me). Talia Light Rake is the writer & director on the project and she’s incredibly talented. I fell in love with the script when she first sent it to me and knew I wanted to be a part of it. Katherine and Charlie are doing wonderful things at Madhouse Films and I couldn’t be more excited to be working with them in any capacity. I’m sad I couldn’t make it down to Miami (schedules, of course) but I’m there in spirit! I’m eager for you all to see what this very talented cast and crew have created. I’ve talked to Talia about where the story could go, what a full season 1 would look like. Flushed out story arcs, romance, betrayal, love, lust, confusion, fame…there are so many fun ideas and different directions the story could take. I honestly think this show could be the perfect modern day Rom Com that we need.

I have to admit, back in 2018 when I told Ashley I wanted us to move back to Rhode Island someday, I didn’t think she would become a part of the Real Housewives of Rhode Island. And I certainly didn’t think I would become a Real Househusband (if that’s what we’re called). Yet, here we are. Ashley probably isn’t the first person you think of when thinking of a ‘Housewife’. However, when I think about it, I actually think she is. Ashley is hardworking, intelligent, thoughtful, a supportive wife and the most loving mother any child can ask for. I see her put her family first every single day. She might not be confrontational, she might not flip tables but she is strong, diligent and wears her heart on her sleeve. Ashley I is a badass. And when I think of this franchise, I think of badass women. Because of this, I think Ashley will fit right in.

I know I’m a day late posting but I swear I got her flowers yesterday. Happy Valentine’s Day to an incredible wife, mother and overall human being. Ashley truly is the glue to our family and is someone who is full of love. Us three boys are very thankful for her. We love you. We’re celebrating Valentine’s Day down in with the whole family! This is where they filmed Bachelor in Paradise back when us has beens were on. We’re down here with Tanner, Jade and their kids as well! Pretty cool having everyone here at place where we all met for the first time. Forever grateful to Paradise for bringing us all together in what we all agree now is truly paradise here at Vidanta.

Joe is a former NFL player who won three super bowls with the Patriots before being forced to retire after being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in 2007.
