๐ Location: Narragansett Parkway, Warwick, RI
Parade Route: The parade will travel along Narragansett Parkway, a scenic two-mile stretch lined with enthusiastic spectators.
What to Bring: Chairs, blankets, sunscreen, and your best parade spirit!

๐ช A Colonial military encampment
๐ง Fun childrenโs games and activities
๐ฅ The iconic reenactment of the burning of the HMS Gaspee at 4:00 PM, depending on weather and water conditions

Congratulations to our Grand Marshal Jeanne Knowles. Jeanne, a dedicated Pawtuxet Ranger, hosted the first Gaspee Days Committee meeting at her kitchen table 61 years ago. Andโฆshe turns 100 on Sunday! Thank you Jeanne!

๐จ IMPORTANT GASPEE SAFETY & PARKING INFO! ๐จ
๐ Broad Street/Narragansett Parkway will be CLOSED starting at 8:00AM on June 13 from Broad St and Chiswick St in Cranston to the end of Narragansett Parkway in Warwick. The road will remain closed until the Parade has concluded.
๐ Warwick Police Department parking maps are attached to this post! Thank you for putting these together. It is suggested that those attending the events and looking for a place to park come from Warwick Ave and use Post Rd, Harrison Ave, and/or North Country Club Dr.
๐ NO electric bikes, motorcycles, bicyclists, or scooters are allowed in the street during either the Gaspee 5K or Parade.
๐ Use discretion with baby strollers and when walking dogs on leashes. The road MUST BE CLEAR for runners and Parade participants to avoid any accidents. Do NOT cross the street in front of oncoming runners. Strollers and dogs are NOT permitted to run/walk in the 5K due to the small size of the road and volume of participants.
๐ Stay hydrated! Bring plenty of water to drink while you're watching the 5K and Parade to prevent dehydration. Runners, there is water available at the finish line and race midpoint.
๐ NO objects of any kind may be handed, thrown, sprayed or otherwise distributed to spectators from any vehicle or float or by any Parade participant. Parade vehicles and floats may not be approached by people along the route. No flags or banners, or anything that could obstruct visibility, are allowed in the 5K race.
๐ A reminder that Gaspee Days prohibits solicitation of any kind during its events.

PRE-RACE CHECK-IN!
June 11, 4-7PM, Aspray Boat House (2 E View St, Warwick, RI 02888)
Beat the race-day crowds by checking in early. Pick up your bib and shirt. You MUST bring a copy of your photo ID. If you're checking in for someone else, please have a copy of their photo ID (can be a text picture of the photo ID). Please have your QR registration code ready to be scanned when you arrive!
If you can't make it, don't worry - you can still check-in the morning of the race.

For more than 50 years, the parade has brought together the community to celebrate both our history and the incredible spirit of Rhode Island. What began as a commemoration of the 1772 burning of the HMS Gaspee has grown into a tradition that connects generations and strengthens our community year after year.
