Hooper and Ringo went to their adoptive family today, straight off the Misfit Farms Transport that came up from Mississippi. Mike M., along with John and Lynn, met the transport bus in Hamburg; John & Lynn couldn't have been happier to meet their new boys!

Hooper and Ringo are Owner Surrenders and came a long way to their new home. John and Lynn adopted a bonded pair through Brookline before, Max and Harry, and those 2 have passed. Lynn decided to wait again before adopting another bonded pair... and then along came Hooper & Ringo; they couldn't have ended up in a better home!

We’re wishing you endless snuggles, sunbeam snoozes, and treats for days. Go rock that rescued life, sweet boys—you both deserve every ounce of joy. 💫🏡🦴💕

🎉 Benji has been matched with an adoptive family, and his two-week pre-adoptive period with Shannon, Matthew, and their children, James and Otto, began yesterday. Benji was a sweetheart from the start—he quickly settled in close to Shannon, soaking up the love. He also enjoyed watching the boys play, curious about what they were up to and if it might involve something for him. 😊When it was time to go, Benji headed off easily with his new family, and we wish them all the very best as they begin this new chapter together. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who played a part in helping Benji find his way into the Brookline foster system after he found himself at Philly ACCT following the passing of his owner. A very special thank you to Denise and Dave for giving Benji a loving place to land, decompress, and begin again.

Carrie has been matched with her future adoptive family! Carrie will have a mom, dad, two human siblings, and two canine siblings – a Boston Terrier and a Great Dane. We can’t wait to see this little peanut with a Great Dane! LOL! Details for her introduction are being worked out. If all goes as hoped, she’ll begin her two-week pre-adoptive period soon. 🥰✨

Bailey is home, and she’s all set to enjoy the rest of her life. 💛 Daphne and Scott are thrilled to have her and just love her! They said their home feels complete again with Bailey being present. Bailey has dipped her paws in the lake on their property but hasn't gone in it... well - not yet!

Thanks to Mike M. for bringing Bailey into the rescue, Jacqueline and Betsy for fostering her and being great advocates for Bailey and ensuring a complete knowledge transfer of Bailey's history, which is essential for her current care, Wendy for taking care of the introduction, and Jackie, Mark, and Joe for handling her adoption finalization. Adoption Finalized! 🎉Lennie is officially home.🥹 Kristen and Gil needed a little more time to make sure that Lennie, now named June or Junebug, and their resident dog, Roger, were a good match. The extra two weeks did the trick!💛

🎉 Big news for our boy, Bubby (soon to be Bubba)! He's been matched with an adoptive family, and his official introduction was held this week. Since his new family will be away this weekend, he’ll begin his preadoptive period on Monday – two weeks of tail wags, cuddles, and new beginnings. 🐶💫

🍫 Meet Hunter! This handsome 5-year-old chocolate Lab was lovingly surrendered when his family had to leave the country unexpectedly. He’s now in a kennel, and we’re urgently looking for a foster, foster to adopt, or adoptive home to get him back where he belongs — with a family.

Hunter is the full package:
• Fetch champion + baby pool splasher
• Great with kids
• Fabulous in the car (hops right in!)
• Walks beautifully on leash and ignores other dogs on walks
• Has played nicely with a small dog
• Crate trained and settles well
• Food + toy motivated
• Knows commands like sit, come, and leave it — in Spanish

He’s affectionate, friendly, confident, and loves being part of daily life. He’s UTD on vaccines but will need to be neutered. Cats are unknown.

Hunter is an active, happy boy who thrives on attention and routine. He deserves to be back in a home getting all the love he’s used to 💛
