I’m Rachel Morales, LCSW, and I specialize in working with adults navigating depression, anxiety, life transitions, and those moments when old ways of coping aren’t working anymore. My approach to therapy is collaborative, authentic, and direct. I’m someone you can trust to hold space for the hard stuff and also someone who will gently challenge you to grow. Whether you’re seeking support for a specific issue or simply feeling the weight of something you can’t quite name, I’m here to walk with you at your pace.

My work focuses on helping clients understand and respond to their emotions in new, empowering ways. Drawing from principles of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I aim to help you take back the wheel — so emotions don’t control you, but instead become something you can navigate with clarity and confidence. I believe therapy should meet you where you are. Some people come with one focused concern, others with a lifetime of experiences to unpack. There’s no right way to do this, and no pressure to have it all figured out. My goal is to support you in discovering what a more joyful, unburdened life looks like — for you.

I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago in 2014. While I began working with children and families, the majority of my experience has been with Veterans facing challenges including eating disorders and severe depression. I have experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals and am committed to creating an open, affirming space for all identities and backgrounds.
