We are a student service at the University of Central Missouri (UCM). Housed in the Academic Enrichment department, the Writing Center is a unique entity. The Center takes on the personality of those working, so from year to year the atmosphere grows. Students drop-in to get advice on their papers - no appointments necessary. Graduate writers! Join the UCM Writing Center on Sunday, March 5th and make some progress on your thesis, research project, and other writing tasks!
Graduate students, faculty, and staff from all disciplines are encouraged to present their research at the annual Graduate Scholars Symposium at the University of Central Missouri. This symposium takes place Wednesday, April 19th, 2017 at the Elliot Student Union in room 240.
The deadline for proposals has been extended, so there's STILL TIME to submit your work!!!

Graduate students are taking over the Learning Commons on Sunday, February 5th! Graduate Writing Day offers a dedicated time and space for graduate writers to make progress on their theses, research projects, and other writing tasks. With both quiet and more interactive work-spaces available, graduate students will have opportunities to focus on their writing and to collaborate with other writers.
