BurgBingo

Lots of players are asking about Bingo in the 'Burg at the American Legion. Not having any Bingo for a while, until a lot of folks locally get vaccinated. We will stay shut down until it is relatively safe for our workers and players to congregate again. We still have workers trying to recover from Corona, and not the good kind in 12 ounce bottles. The local infection rates, hospitalization, and "R" factors are still way too high to consider opening back up. Be safe, and we hope to see you next year!

Bingo players! Tonight will be November Birthday night! All players with a November birth date will receive $10 worth of additional paper! (after completing appropriate paperwork, of course)
This will also be the last Bingo at Matthews-Crawford Post 131 for a while. At least until the 'Rona virus gets under control a lot better.

Watch the Reproduction Rate (R value), the 7 Day Rolling Average of new infections, and the infection percentage to evaluate progress. We are looking for an infection percentage under 10% (CDC method), and 7 Day rolling average of 100 or less cases per 100,000 population, and an R value of 1 or less. These numbers would indicate the virus spread is reducing. We will keep posting updates on BurgBingo.

Hey! BurgBingo fans! Tomorrow is the national Presidential election, and if you vote(d) we will have extra paper for you! Make sure to wear you sticker (ON YOU) or bring proof of voting so we can reward your participation in our democracy!

Bingo players! Tonight (Oct 27, 2020) is birthday night for October! Don't forget to tell us if you have an October birthdate! ALSO: The kitchen will not be open tonight due to quarantine of the people who are supposed to be working it. Feel free to bring a snack if you need one. The bar will sell sodas and has some bags of chips, but that will be the only food available. We apologize for the inconvenience.

BINGO is RESUMING! Legion is open again, so we are playing Bingo on Tuesday, October 27! Early Bird starts calling at 6:40 PM, with regular Bingo beginning at 7 PM. Please come out to play IF YOU ARE WELL! If you are not well, please stay home! Masks are required!

Attention all Bingo players! Matthews-Crawford Post 131 has cancelled all events at the Post for the next two weeks. No Bingo on October 13 or October 20. We hope to resume Post activities after two weeks. We believe our player's safety is our primary concern. Please stay safe, Wear your mask, Wash your hands, and Watch your distance!

For our BINGO play on Tuesday, July 7. These pages have some guidance. The safety of our players and volunteers is important to us, and we appreciate everyone respecting other's safety.

Good news Bingo players! We are resuming Bingo on Tuesday, July 7 ! There will be a few changes . . . . We are requiring masks. The only time the mask can be removed is when you are seated at your table. We will be taking temperatures at the door, where we will ask that you use the hand sanitizer We are also asking you to social distance from other players unless you are family. The tables are set to make social distancing easy for everyone, and we ask players NOT to change the seating without the specific consent of all players who would be within 6 feet of you. A couple of pages with guidance on masks and questions to ask yoursel will be added to this page shortly.

Bingo fanatics, we're sorry but we have to stay closed for a while. For everyone's safety, try to stay home. If you must go out, pretend everyone else has a cold, and that cold can kill. Wash your hands, don't touch your face with your hands after you have touched anything anybody else could have touched. For goodness sakes, if you don't feel well or have any symptoms, stay away from your family members. Limit contact with anyone. Please. And when this mess gets sorted out and we can safely do so, we'll play Bingo again!

Everyone: For the health and safety of our players (and workers) we are suspending BINGO at the Warrensburg American Legion until further notice. We anticipate this temporary suspension to last at least 3 weeks and possibly more. We will keep you informed. Be safe and wash your hands!

Nobody won the yellow progressive last week, so it goes up another $100 and another ball tomorrow night! And the pink progressive has reached $1000 and the number of balls goes up for it every week now as well. Come get you some of the $6,000 + in prizes that will be competed for Tuesday night at the American Legion in Warrensburg!
