Born November 14, 1965, Laura Kraut has long been a shining star in American show jumping. At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, she and her incredible mount Cedric anchored Team USA to gold alongside McLain Ward, Will Simpson, and Beezie Madden. 🌟🏅

Beyond the arena, Laura’s passion for giving back shines through her work with JustWorld International, using horses to empower underserved children around the world. 🌍❤️

Fun fact: You might’ve caught her on A Rider’s Story (2010), where she teamed up with fellow Olympian McLain Ward to share the highs, lows, and behind-the-scenes of elite equestrian life.

Hello family, friends and followers of Freedom Farm:

I know many of you are wondering what happened to the lessons and riding program. Some of you know that I lost my mother a year ago, which was a very devastating loss for me. During that tough time, I was diagnosed with the big "C". Treatment ensued shortly after and knocked me out of giving lessons all summer. Recouped for a short time then was dealt with a mystery bout of falling, hospital stay, and trouble navigating the farm. Putting lessons on hold was a tough decision but I knew I couldn't perform as a coach should. Unfortunately, my med issues are still in play and I cannot say for sure "I'll be back" to continue lessons. So for now, I am closing the doors. However, I still want you to come visit and see me. You are all so important to me. I miss you all!
