Our Psychology Department has several important dates coming up. Please come celebrate these amazing long-term professors who have given so much to the department and to UCM!

It's Brain Awareness Week! 🧠 This week highlights the wonders of the brain and the importance of neuroscience research in helping us better understand behavior, learning, memory, and mental health. Psi Chi proudly supports psychological research—including publishing new work in the Psi Chi Journal of Psychological Research and promoting open science.

Last semester, Central University of Central Missouri’s Psi Chi chapter teamed up with the Psychology Club to create a parade float to run in the Homecoming parade. To match the theme, the members dressed up as characters from the movie Inside Out and handed out candy. The float won third place for best student organization float and reportedly raised awareness for the two organizations.

The University of Central Missouri Alumni Foundation has announced the 2025 class of its “10 Under 40” alumni recognition program. These young alumni are innovating in their fields, inspiring their communities and leading by example as the next generation of UCM alumni leaders.
