Smith Tours has a few openings for the 5-Day Mystery trip departing from Warrensburg, Higginsville, and Concordia from August 2-6, 2026. The cost for booking a double is $1325, which includes all activities, hotels, motor coach transportation, driver's gratuity, snacks, bottled water, and nine meals.

Please let us know if you are interested in traveling to our unknown places. This trip is filled with activity, 13 to be exact! We will be on the go constantly!

Final payment is due on June 22nd.

Friday we traveled to Lexington, KY to visit the Kentucky Horse Park and Mill Ridge Farms. It was a beautiful day to visit horses and enjoy some horse programs. I think most of the bus could have stayed at Mill Ridge all day just feeding the horses! We ended the day at Uncle Boojie's for a final bourbon tasting, then went across the street to The Cafe for dinner. Many enjoyed the hot brown turkey again, as well as catfish , meatloaf, shrimp and grits, or chicken. When returning to the Seelbach Hotel, many went across the street to 4th Street Live for some evening entertainment and a birthday celebration. Smith Tours will be taking the next couple of months off, but will still be available by email, text messages, or phone. Our next trip will be the five day mystery trip in August! What a fun, busy day we have had in Louisville. We went to Louisville Slugger, had a fabulous lunch catered there, did a tour and tasting at Evan Williams, took a tour at Churchill Downs, made derby hats, ate dinner at Millionaires Row, and we are finishing the evening betting on horses! Tomorrow is all about horses in Lexington. We have another really fun group this week. So many laughs!

Smith Tours took off again this morning and arrived in Louisville for two solid days of activities. We are staying at the beautiful Seelbach Hotel downtown. Tomorrow after a buffet breakfast we will get a tour at Louisville Slugger followed by a catered lunch on their property. After a bourbon tasting at Evan Williams, we will spend the rest of the day and evening at Churchill Downs. We will tour their museum, make derby hats, then head to Millionaires Row for a buffet dinner and live horse racing. Maybe someone will get lucky betting in the horses! It's a full day, but there will be a lot of memories made.

While one Smith Tours group was at the Ark Encounter yesterday, another group went to the New Theatre & Restaurant to see "Cactus Flower". I've heard that it was one of the funniest shows we have seen there. Thank you Kerri for taking this group! We have new shows that we will advertise sometime in June. Be on the lookout if you would enjoy a day trip to the theater.

Smith Tours is on their way home from a four day trip to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum in Kentucky. We have a wonderful group of people from Bethany, as well as a few of our regular travelers. We sure hope we see these people again. They fit right into our "travel family". Thank you all for letting Smith Tours take you on this meaningful trip! On a personal note, the best part of my trip was a surprise in Indianapolis!

Smith Tours has two openings for the Ark Encounter/Creation Museum trip that leaves Monday morning from Bethany, Chillicothe, Laclede, and Macon. Please let us know if you might be interested.

Smith Tours will be going to the New Theater & Restaurant on Wednesday, May 20th to see "Cactus Flower" starring Marilu Henner. This is one of the longest-running comedies on Broadway. We will leave from Laclede around 8:15 that morning and Chillicothe around 8:45. The cost for the entire day, which includes motor coach transportation, the lunch buffet, the show, driver's gratuity, and bottled water, is $133. If you would like to drive to the theater, please contact us for the ticket price.

While one group of Smith Tours finished their canyonland trip, another fun group went to Pella Iowa! Neil Diamond tribute concert, grandstand events, a few tulips, and the night parade were some of the highlights!!!

Our final day of our National Parks tour was another good one. We went to Zion National Park this morning. We began at the visitors center, spent time at rhe lodge and hiked a trail to a waterfall, then caught a private tram where we had our own narration from our driver. Lunch was at rhe lodge before driving to Lake Las Vegas to check in at the Hilton Las Vegas Resort. What a property!. We were treated to a five course Italian dinner at an authentic Italian restaurant. There was no reason to go hungry tonight! What a trip this has been. Some people have said, "It's the best trip I have been on". Our travelers have ridden over 2100 miles this week, plus flying into Phoenix and out of Vegas. We look forward to returning home tomorrow evening.
