Intruder found inside Country Pets and Ponds

At approximately 09:30, Tuesday, June 16, 2026, Retired Detective Randy Eich located an intruder inside Country Pets and Ponds.

The suspect, most likely male, dark complexion, approximately 4 ft in length, weighing approximately 16 oz, and hairless, was located slithering under a gondola.

His point of entry was not determined. No damage or theft was discovered.

With supervising took the intruder into physical custody.

The suspect tried unsuccessfully to bite.

It was determined that the suspect was most likely displaced and hungry.

After giving him a healthy meal, he was released from custody with a stern warning not to return due to our staff member being deathly afraid of his species.
