UCM Ovation Performance Series

This Wed and next Monday, two fantastic pianists will be on stage at UCM. Admission is free and the public is enthusiastically invited to attend.

There are so many arts events this week! Let's start with a UCM Ovation Performance Series tonight at 7:00pm in Hart Recital Hall. Yun Ju Pan - ALicE PaN will give a concert of percussion music. Admission is free!

Local students attend puppet show at UCM WARRENSBURG — The University of Central Missouri OVATION Performance Series hosted a puppet show performance for second graders from Maple Grove and Ridgeview elementary schools and third graders from Martin Warren and Sterling elementary schools.

We are looking forward to welcoming elementary students from Warrensburg to UCM for a private performance of the What If? Puppets!

3) Is the dance program really in Hart at 3pm? Yes! This is the first time we'll be hosting a professional dance program in Hart and we're so excited about it! You'll get to see the dancers up close and have a visceral experience of their incredible energy.

Welcome to the new UCM Ovation Performance Series 2019-2020!

This season features trailblazing artists whose creative work is infused with jump-out-of-your-seat energy. The season began with award winning-playwright Laura Shamas’ new play “Top Secret Deer Daycare”. It continues on November 6 with Ghanaian master percussionist Tijan Dorwana, and on November 9 with a world-premiere performance by contemporary dance company CercaTrova.

Spring 2020 will feature actor Scott Cox’s one-man show “Shakespeare for EveryDay Living”, Boston Symphony violinist Catherine French with pianist Nina Ferrigno in an all Beethoven program, the return of the UCM School of Visual and Performing Arts to the Kauffman Centre for the UCM President's Gala "The Arts are the Future," and the renowned Mesner Puppet Theater presents “The Cat Came Back”.
