Valor Church - Warrensburg
Valor Church Warrensburg launched Sept. 11, 2022. Our services are on Sundays at 10:30am.
We often think our strength, wisdom, talents, and accomplishments come from our own hard work. While God calls us to be diligent, every ability we have is ultimately a gift from Him.
When we surrender our dependence on ourselves and place our trust fully in the Lord, we discover where true strength comes from. The breath in our lungs, the skills in our hands, the words we speak, and the opportunities before us are all made possible by God's grace.
Today, take a moment to thank God for the gifts He has given you and surrender them back to Him. Ask Him to use your life for His glory. We were never meant to carry life's burdens alone—we were created to depend on the One who gives us everything we need.
"Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God." — 2 Corinthians 3:
Happy Mother’s Day! Today we thank God for mothers — a beautiful gift from Him and part of His plan for life and family. God chose mothers to nurture, love, guide, and bring new life into the world, and through Him every life is created with purpose.
Thank you to all the mothers and mother figures who reflect God’s love so faithfully each day. We pray you feel honored and appreciated today!
True faith requires spiritual perception. Today we reflected on Mark 8:1–21 and the difference between a “prove it” mindset and a trusting heart.
So often, like the disciples, we focus on what we can see—what we lack, what we don’t understand—and we miss what God is already doing right in front of us. It was never really about the bread. Even after witnessing miracles, they still worried about not having enough.
Jesus was showing them—and us—that He is enough.
Faith isn’t about demanding signs to prove God is real or present. It’s about trusting Him, even when we don’t fully see or understand. Jesus is the Bread of Life, and in Him, we have everything we need.
Let’s ask God to open our spiritual eyes this week—to move from doubt to trust, from “prove it” to “I believe.”

We will be meeting at UCM tomorrow morning!
Today we reflected on John 13:1–20, where Jesus humbly washed His disciples’ feet showing us that true love serves, even in the lowest places.
During service, we had the opportunity to follow His example by washing one another’s feet. It was a powerful reminder that no act of service is too small when it’s done in love. In those quiet moments, pride faded, hearts softened, and we were united in humility and grace.
Jesus didn’t just teach us to love, He showed us how. May we continue to serve one another with the same heart, both inside and outside the church.
