So great to see the first skate festival at Eckstein Park. Hopefully Grindfest is the first of many to come successful days at the newly redeveloped Park. People from all over the State, of all skill levels and ages were out today enjoying Warren.

A friendly reminder that trash pickup will be one day behind this week due to the holiday.
Thank you to everyone who came out to the grand opening of the Warren Skate Park! All the elected officials who made this Park a reality. All the residents who helped to create this vision. The Warren Parks and Recreation team as well as the Blight Busters for putting on the last minute touches. What a great event celebrating everyone involved, a true testament for what can be accomplished with big ideas. Special thanks to Warren Councilman Jonathan Lafferty for showing off his skating skill. He's a braver man than I.
