The Warren Police Explorers is a career exploration program designed around young adults. It aims to provide first hand experience with police work.
We are open to any Warren or Center Line resident 14 to 21 years of age. Email [email protected] for more information or to sign up. Meeting are held on Mondays at 1800 hrs.

Are you a young person (age 14-21) in the Warren area interested in a career in law enforcement? The Warren Police Explorers program is your chance to get hands-on experience, mentorship from Warren Police Officers, and an insider's look at what it takes to wear the badge.
What you'll do:
- Learn patrol procedures, traffic control, domestic violence, firearm safety, criminal and civil law.
- Participate in community events, competitions, academies and training exercises.

Today the explorers participated in the Mock Disaster event at the Monroe County State Fairgrounds. The explorers were dispatched to multiple runs on the fairgrounds and worked in conjunction with the fire explorers to respond accordingly. It was a long, yet successful day of learning.
The Explorer Program allows youth to explore a future in law enforcement and to
gain skills to become a responsible, ethical, and community oriented adults. It also
reinforces fundamental principles such as good citizenship, morals, accountibility, and leadership.
The explorers meet on Wednesdays from 4:30pm to 7:30pm at the Warren Police Department. The police advisors give instructional and hands on classes on the day to day duties and responsibilities of a Police Officer.

FUNDRAISER ALERT‼️
The explorers are hosting an E-bike raffle. All of the proceeds will benefit the Warren Police Explorers.
The tickets are $25 a ticket with only 300 tickets sold. The E-Bike is a Serfas Edart 750. (see specifications below).

RANGE DAY!
The explorers went to the shooting range today to practice the fundamentals of marksmanship.
The Explorer Program allows youth to explore a future in law enforcement and to
