As the temperatures start to rise, so will the amount of activity on the Warren River, Kickemuit River, and Narragansett Bay.
Always check your safety equipment on your boat, kayak, canoe or paddle-board to ensure that everything is in good working order; especially your life-jacket!
Have a Happy & Safe Summer!

National Safe Boating Week is a reminder that every trip on the water should start with safety.
Before heading out, always check the weather and ensure your vessel is equipped with properly fitted life jackets for everyone on board.
Stay alert, avoid distractions, and never operate a boat under the influence. Conditions on the water can change quickly, so preparation is key.

EMS Week 2026!
The Warren Fire Department would like to recognize the Officers and members of our rescue division who are out the door promptly, many times every day and night to make our residents’ bad day, a little better.
The Captain, his Lieutenants, and the EMTs, Cardiacs, and Paramedics are constantly ordering supplies, checking equipment, training, and providing exceptional pre-hospital care to our citizens.
We are grateful for all of you!

05 May 2026- High Fire Risk Today
Due to strong winds and dry conditions, there is an elevated risk of outdoor fires today. We ask that you refrain from burning and be cognizant when using outdoor cooking appliances, and discarding smoking materials.
Our volunteers from Station 6 responded to Seekonk yesterday around 1pm , then diverted to Westport until 5am this morning, as most need to report to their career jobs today. We are very fortunate to have such dedicated individuals to serve our community and communities around us, as well as mutual aid partners that would assist our Department whenever we needed it!
