I don’t always get the opportunity to feel those things when I get dressed. So when reached out to see if she could make me a custom set designed with my mastectomy in mind, I honestly didn’t know what to expect.

There is something incredibly powerful about being able to look at your body and feel beautiful in it exactly as you are and having lingerie made specifically for a flat chest could be truly life changing for so many women.

Thank you for seeing me, creating something with my body in mind, and giving me an opportunity to be reminded how feminine and sexy a body like mine is.

My mastectomy body is just as beautiful as any body out there 🦋

I stayed quiet because I believed the laws that were in place gave me some sense of safety. Then those protections changed. Finding out that the person who abused me, Rodney Paul Tacey Jr., had been removed from Michigan’s public offender registry brought a lot back for me. It made me realize how much of my silence had been tied to the belief that the system would continue to protect me.

I don’t need revenge. I don’t want anyone confronting anyone on my behalf. I just want to have a voice. And for years I protected myself by staying quiet. Now I’m choosing to protect myself by speaking.

There’s something so surreal about making a living documenting love.

I don’t just want to give my couples beautiful wedding photos. I want them to look back at their photos years from now and remember exactly how it felt to be there.
