Art Night Bristol-Warren is this Thursday and we want to see you at IMAGO ✦

Stop by 36 Market Street on June 25 to experience Nocturnal — an exhibition exploring the many dimensions of night, from landscapes and interiors to dreams, rituals, city life, natural cycles, and the inner landscape of the mind. Poems by 15 poets are woven throughout the gallery, inviting visitors to sit with the relationship between darkness and illumination.

Guest work was selected by Leigh Tarentino, Associate Professor of Visual Art at Brown University. The show features 35 guest artists alongside IMAGO’s own exhibiting artists — some of whom will be in the gallery that evening to chat about the work on display.

Also, Zelda Hayes will be playing from 6:00 - 8:00 PM

✦ Meet this year’s Starry Night honorees ✦

This July 18, we’re celebrating two artists who have shaped Rhode Island’s creative community for decades — Ruth Dealy and Bob Dilworth.

Ruth’s luminous paintings — self-portraits and landscapes she sees as secular altarpieces — carry both scientific precision and quiet spiritual depth. Bob’s large-scale, richly layered works excavate memory and identity with the same generosity he has brought to generations of students at Brown, Princeton, URI, and beyond.

These are the kinds of artists IFA exists to celebrate. We hope you’ll join us.
