To everyone who supported the Downtown Makers Marketplace, especially our friends and neighbors at 100 Westminster, you brought this place to life. Your daily visits, your kindness, and your love for local food made this little corner of downtown feel like home.

We are truly grateful to Papitto Opportunity Connection and Paolino Properties. Their belief in this idea helped us build something joyful in a post COVID downtown. Together we created a space that welcomed thousands of people and gave emerging food founders a real chance to shine. We are proud of what we built together and the space is ready for whatever comes next.

As we prepare to close the Marketplace on June 26, our hearts are full. Every purchase you made helped a local food entrepreneur take a real step toward their dream. You helped our makers grow and believe in what is possible. Thank you for being part of this chapter.

Now we turn our focus to West End Kitchens, opening in just a few weeks. We are welcoming an inaugural class of 25 new food businesses who are ready to anchor themselves in Providence. This is where our energy is going. More shared kitchens. More business support. More opportunity for Rhode Island’s food founders.

There will not be a cafe at West End Kitchens, but we are excited to gather with you in a new way. From September 11 through October 30, we will host a Friday evening market on Lafayette Street from 4 to 7 pm. You will find many of your favorite Hope & Main makers there and discover new ones too.

❄️ This is *snow* time to retreat! ❄️ Small businesses are vulnerable, and sales opportunities like our Fresh Batch Market are truly a lifeline that keeps their operations running.

‼️This is why we are STILL ON FOR THURSDAY! We will still be open 4-7pm, and we hope you'll still be here, too‼️

We've promised these vendors an evening that will support their businesses, and we're going to do everything we can to keep that promise 💫

Our parking lot and walkways will be plowed, sanded, and traversable. The building will be cozy and warm, as will the smiles and samples 😊
