Yesterday LaBrae Student Nathan Lutz visited our office. He interviewed Auditor Yoder and took a tour of our departments.

For the third year, the Auditor’s office has utilized the Treasurer of State’s OMAP program to secure a better rating for short term borrowing for the County. Since 2024, the County has saved over $100,000 thanks to this program.

Treasurer Sprague Announces 2026 OMAP Savings for Trumbull County COLUMBUS – The Ohio Market Access Program (OMAP) administered by Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague has helped Trumbull County enter the market and save an estimated $25,902 in interest costs.

Both young ladies volunteered to help fulfill their Community and Career Volunteer Hours requirement at Hubbard High School. They both did a great job and were a big help.

On Friday, December 19, Governor DeWine signed into law five tax reform bills that complete the largest tax reform in fifty years. Auditor Yoder, as a member of the County Auditors Association of Ohio (CAAO) has helped advocate for these reforms and applauds the legislature and the Governor in implementing them. While more work does need to be done, this first step will result in about $2 Billion dollars in property tax savings for homeowners.
