My name is Victoria and I am a local photographer in the Southeast Michigan area. I am very passionate about photography and the clients I meet along the way. To me, photography is an art form that brings me back to my childhood with my Mother and my Late Father. When I was growing up as a young child, My Dad use to take my Mother and I on a lot of family vacations and camping trips. Throughout th
ose years, I remember specifically my Mother always taking her little digital Nikon camera with her on every trip we took and she would always capture such beautiful scenic photos. She always use to say that she took those photos so she could remember when she got older all of the places she went. As I got older in my teen years, I started to develop my own love of photography as well. Back then, it started with Nature/Scenic photos as well from trips that I went on with my family, just like my Mom. Then, in high school I took a digital photography class where I learned how to use a proper DSLR camera, different styles of photography and editing programs such as PhotoShop. That's when I really knew that I wanted to pursue this career choice. It was several years before I finally found my current job where I work and I couldn't be any happier. I work at a professional sports photography company 40 hours a week, where we take portrait photos of kids in school sports. I take the photos of the kids that come to the studio for retakes or make up photos, since I also do office work, such as ordering out the photo prints from a lab and packaging/mail them out to the parents when they are ready. As I have been working here for over a year now, I realized that I wanted to run my own photography business because it finally felt like the right time to start it. Being that I work where I work, I have so many resources and knowledge that has helped me to start my own business and I love my wonderful coworkers who are always there, cheering me on from the sidelines to grow even more with my business. I hope that one day, it might turn out to be my biggest dream come true and something that I can show my daughter in the future, that you CAN achieve your dreams if you put your mind to it.
