Here are a few lesser-known facts about Juneteenth:
π Early Juneteenth celebrations often included educational readings and lessons about citizenship and civil rights.
π‘ Many Black communities purchased their own land to host Juneteenth celebrations because public spaces were often unavailable to them.

Iβm going to let you all in on a little secret. Being a full-time student and a full-time business owner is a struggle. I have been so overwhelmed mentally and physically. Itβs been exhausting! Time management has even been exhausting. Iβm going to try and get back to posting regularly, but itβs going to be a battle. Going to class M-F and volunteering every Monday and Wednesday evening while still trying to pass classes is hard.
This weekend I will be making a fresh batch of Hair Butter and Leave-In Conditioner.
