As early as 1838, inventors like Thomas Davenport began experimenting with early electric motors to run printing presses. By the late 1800s, electrical power and steam engines allowed presses to churn out tens of thousands of pages per hour, giving rise to the modern mass-circulation newspaper.

Meet Mike Dickinsin!

Mike handles business development at MIGU and has spent more than 30 years in the print and packaging industry, with a hands-on approach, he works closely with clients to deliver the correct solutions and understand how to manage complex projects without the headaches. He started his print career in pre-press specializing in color corrections.

* If you weren’t in printing, what would you be doing? Business Development / Partnerships: I enjoy connecting dots and people. BD would let me hunt for opportunities, build trust quickly, and close deals.

* Hobbies? Working out and golf

* Hidden Talents? In my head I am a fantastic singer

* Favorite Sport/Team? All Philly!!

* Favorite Vacation Spot? Lake Dunmore Vermont, LBI and Sea Isle
