🥎 Happy World Softball Day! 🥎
There has never been a more exciting time for softball.
From the Women’s College World Series to professional softball and the sport’s return to the Olympic stage, the game continues to reach new heights.
But the game grows because the softball community is like no other.
Players. Parents. Coaches. Volunteers. Donors. Partners. Advocates.
Together, they show up, speak up, and help create opportunities for the next generation of girls in the game.
At Pitch In For Baseball & Softball, we believe every player deserves the chance to play. For many young athletes, access to equipment can be the difference between watching from the sidelines and stepping onto the field.
Today, we celebrate the softball community and everyone helping grow the game. 💙🥎
⚾ Five years ago, Blong picked up a glove for the first time using donated PIFBS equipment.
Today, he’s preparing to graduate as a leader, teammate, and standout player for Washington Technology Eagles Baseball in St. Paul, MN. Through baseball, Blong found confidence, friendship, and a passion for the game that pushed him to keep growing both on and off the field.
What started as a new experience in 8th grade became an opportunity that shaped his future. Stories like Blong’s show how access to equipment and sports can create lasting impact for young athletes. 💙

⚾🥎 Put Extra Gear Back in Play This Summer! 🥎⚾
As we head into summer, it’s the perfect time to clean out the garage, dust off that extra gear, and help more kids get in the game!
Join us for our Saturday, June 20th Equipment Drop-Off and donate gently used baseball and softball gear. That glove, bat, helmet, or pair of cleats sitting unused could be the reason a child steps onto the field for the very first time. 🙌
We’re also looking for volunteers to help with drop-off that day! Whether you can lend a hand collecting gear, greeting families, or helping keep things organized, your support makes a big difference. ⚾🥎
Donate your gear. Volunteer your time. Keep the game growing.

⚾❤️ A Life Well Played. A Legacy That Lives On. ❤️⚾
At Pitch In For Baseball & Softball, we often talk about the impact of the game. Some people spend a lifetime creating that impact.
Patricia "Pat" Wilson was one of those people.
As a lifelong athlete and dedicated coach, Pat devoted decades to helping young athletes learn, grow, compete, and find a place where they belonged. Her commitment to youth sports touched countless lives both on and off the field.
Even in her passing, Pat continues to make a difference.
We are deeply grateful to the Wilson family for naming Pitch In For Baseball & Softball as a memorial recipient in her honor. Through the generosity of family and friends, more than $1,000 has already been raised to help provide baseball and softball equipment to underserved youth.
What a fitting tribute to someone who spent so many years helping kids experience the game she loved.
Join us in celebrating a life well played and a legacy that continues to help more kids get in the game. ❤️

⚾🥎 Give Back to the Game! 🥎⚾
Looking for a meaningful team-building activity this season?
Baseball and softball teams across the country can make a lasting impact by hosting an equipment collection project to help young athletes gain access to the gear they need to play.
When teams come together to collect gently used gloves, bats, helmets, cleats, and other equipment, they aren't just cleaning out the garage. They're helping ensure more kids have the opportunity to get on the field and experience the game we all love. ❤️
How it works:
1️⃣ Register your project on our website
2️⃣ Collect gently used baseball and softball equipment from your community
3️⃣ Donate and we'll help get it into the hands of kids who need it most
Every glove, bat, helmet, and cleat can help open the door to opportunity for a young player.

🥎 Sometimes the right equipment can change everything.
The South Eastern Rams Softball team in Stewartstown, PA received new catching gear, bats, and essential softball equipment through Pitch In For Baseball & Softball. For a team working through challenges both on and off the field, this support gave them more than equipment. It gave them renewed confidence, energy, and excitement for the season ahead.
Every glove, bat, and piece of gear helps create opportunities for players to grow, compete, and build lasting memories together. Stories like this remind us how powerful access to sports can be for young athletes and their communities. 💙
