Today at the GDCA National in Norman, OK
(GCD Living On A Prayer V DRD), Preacher was awarded 1st place in his classes. First class in 6-9 month puppy dog, expertly handled by Alexis and also in Novice owner/handled by myself.

Just a little pupdate from my September ’21 litter! This is Dozer fka Kevin Gates!! He is 168lbs now and growing beautifully!

This is Athena. She is 8 months old from my CH Graham x Kaya September litter. She was returned due to no fault of her own. Located in MO. She is an amazing girl that is partially trained in obedience. Her ears are a little wonky due to an injury. She is crate/potty trained. Loves other dogs/kids/not sure about cats. She is AKC but is PET HOME ONLY. UTD on shots, worming and rabies. Will come with a strict return contract as do all of my babies. Please PM for more info.

Let me introduce you guys to Preacher. Our new addition. He is Gatsbys nephew and our new stud prospect and AKC show prospect. We are excited for his future! As some of you know, Gatsby passed away tragically in February of this year and we are devastated. My good friend/co owner at Gulf Coast Great Danes offered to graciously let me co own this amazing mantle male and I could not pass up the opportunity. So here’s to the future of DRD! I will post updates as he goes to shows this coming year!

When considering buying a puppy and you question why you may be paying so much or why a contract may be strict, please read this.

Just wanted to explain a bit how breeding actually works when buying from a breeder who would go above and beyond for their dogs. Before you question a price being too high, just know we aren't in it for the money because in all reality we truly don't make much. Here's a quick breakdown of the MANY expenses that go into breeding just one female
At least 3k in food for a year for momma and then for the 3 weeks puppies eat.
At least 2k in health testing to insure we are passing on quality genes
At least 400 per puppy on shots, worming, puppy packages, and all of the special things to insure our puppies have everything they need in their new homes
At least 2k on vitamins, supplements, and whatever else mommas and puppies may need
At least 3k if a c-section is needed
At least 2k for a stud fee if needed to insure the puppies obtain the very best quality from each parent.
At least 1k in traveling, meeting new puppy buyers, and so on
At least 3k in savings at all times to use if any puppy ever needs any special care after birth.

When you are buying a puppy from a reputable breeder yes you may pay more, but that's because we've put so much time, energy, and money into assure that each and every one is ready for their new home. We've had more sleepless nights and heartache then our could ever imagine. We are there no matter what time of day for any puppy buyer, no judgement on any questions. Our puppies are our whole world no matter where they may be.
You may think our contracts are strict or not understand why a coown is important to us but just try to think about it from our point of view. We've put years into this and just want to pass on the heartaches we've learned, before you have to go through it. We've spent years researching.

Breeders do it for the breed, we do it for the stories we hear about the difference our puppies make in someone's life.
With all if that said, yes my contract is strict, yes you could probably find a cheaper puppy. But I put my heart and soul into the program I health guarantee each and every puppy. You are not just paying for a puppy, you are paying for a lifetime of breeder support with whoever you may choose. There are other amazing breeders and they will all back this. We are improving the breed, just pay attention when buying. ♥️♥️

I’m looking for a potential co own/guardian home situation for a pup from Kaya’s next litter (the end of the year hopefully) It will hopefully be a harlequin female and I’d like to be able to show her so I’d need someone closer to me within 2-3 hours from Wappapello, MO.
