The 6th graders ended the year strong with some fun at the bowling alley!

8th grader Eva, was presented with her award and monetary winnings by Mrs. Jennifer Turcinovic, both a Wantagh Middle School teacher and DAR member. Eva's essay submission was selected as the Daughter of American Revolution's New York State First Place entry for the eighth grade essay contest. # WarriorsCare

Ms. Gatti and Ms. Hersch wrapped up 6th grade ELA with a “speed dating” book talk activity! Students had a chance to discuss their latest independent reads with one another. It was a great year, and we’ll miss all of our black team students!

Congratulations to the Wantagh Middle School Class of 2026! We are so proud of all you have accomplished in the 3 years spent at WMS. We can't wait to see what the future holds! Best of luck!

The eighth grade Broadway Experience elective presented their original play, Murder at Midnight, last week. Students spent the past year writing, designing, directing, and producing this one act murder mystery. Bravo to all of our hardworking cast and crew!

These Gold Team 7th graders were awarded Student of the Week during the fourth Marking Period. This group of students exemplified Leadership, Empathy, Accountability and Perseverance in all of their classes!

6th Grader, Jack, was selected as the Daughter of American Revolution's New York State Honorable Mention essay contest winner! He was presented with his award and monetary winnings by Mrs. Kay Kenney. Congrats!
