Crimping Cat6 F/UTP (foil/unshielded twisted pair) for AV in 10 easy steps. 🤣 place heatshrink and strain relief on cable, score the jacket, trim the foil, bend the foil back over the jacket (I like to rock the conductors back and forth to prevent tearing, wrap the drain, cover the foil and drain with conductive copper tape, separate pairs and trim spline, untwist the wires just enough to place the guide, trim the pairs, insert into jack, crimp, place the strain relief boot, test and heat shrink. That was 10, right?
