An armed robbery occurred at approximately 7:01 PM near Howard and Joy Streets. According to police, the suspect brandished a handgun and fled with $30.

A person matching the suspect’s description was seen in the area shortly after the incident. However, a show-up identification with the victim confirmed this individual was not the suspect.

If you live in the area and have a Ring doorbell or any surveillance cameras, check for any footage that may have captured the suspect.

This matter is still very much under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Waltham Police at (781) 314-3600.
