Join us for the Spring Stitchers Social on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 2:00–5:00 p.m. in Walpole, Massachusetts for an afternoon of stitching, lunching, and laughing!

This cozy, informal get-together is open to all stitchers and friends—knitters, crocheters, sewists, quilters, rug hookers, cross stitchers, embroiderers, and more.

There’s no class and no pressure—just good company, creative time, and a lovely high tea.

The cost is $45, and to be sure we have enough seats, supplies, and treats for everyone, please RSVP and send your non-refundable payment by February 21 to secure your spot.

Join me for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the art of crafting traditional thrummed mittens! Perfect for beginners and experienced knitters alike, this class will guide you step-by-step in creating these warm, fluffy mittens lined with wooly thrums—ideal for keeping fingers toasty on the coldest days.

You’ll learn:

• How to prepare and insert thrums for a soft, insulating interior.

• Techniques for knitting a mitten pattern, including shaping the thumb.

• Tips for choosing the best yarn and wool for your project.

A selection of colorful wool for thrumming, a written pattern and expert instruction are included. I’ll send a supply list and homework when you enroll. You’ll leave with one almost completed mitten and the skills to finish the second at home.

Duration: 3 hours/$75

Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
