This week members of the York Village Fire Department traveled to Pierce Mfg in Bradenton, FL to conduct the final inspection on their new mini pumper.

All aspects of the truck were tested for compliance and function. The truck will be headed north soon where it will receive graphics before being delivered in late June.

Another beautiful Pierce Mid Mount delivered to Hudson, Massachusetts. We'd like to thank Chief Desautels and the entire Hudson Fire Department for their continued support in this process. This truck was purchased through Pierce's accelerated build time program and arrived in just over a year.

Congratulations to the York Village Fire Department on the delivery of their new Saber Pumper assigned to Engine 2. The Fire department took advantage of the Pierce stock program to purchase a pumper late last summer for a shorter delivery time.

Members from the Atkinson, NH Fire Department finished the final inspection on their new Engine 1. This is their first Pierce fire apparatus in over 30 years and we are excited to have Atkinson back in the Pierce family. During our visit we had an opportunity to attend a special Pierce event hosted at the Fox River Brewing Company. There we enjoyed a big dinner buffet and yard games along the river.

The Nashua, NH Fire Department recently completed the final inspection of their new Engine 1, marking the end of the city’s long-standing tradition of utilizing Arrow XT chassis.

The visit also served as Captain Matt Perault’s final trip to Pierce after years of dedicated involvement on the truck committee, contributing to the development of nine apparatus for the department.

To recognize Captain Perault’s commitment and partnership over the years, a celebration was held on the Blue Floor featuring a custom cake and appearances by many Pierce employees who had the opportunity to work alongside him throughout his time on the truck committee.
