I recently went to the Masters Of Taste that was held at the Rose Bowl in Pasedana, CA. This is a great event for food fans to try out tastings from different local culinary masters.

I've been hemming and hawing about this for a while. I finally decided to purchase a ticket to "Masters of Taste" to be held on Sunday, 07 April 2019 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Much of the proceeds go towards helping the Union Station Homeless Services. I was debating about asking for media rate as I would go in as a freelance travel writer/photographer with a blog. Maybe I would have gotten a media rate if I asked, but the money goes towards a group of people who could use a little help for being down on their luck or being put there for reasons they had no control over. I also will be networking during the event, so I'd like to think I will get something better (paid work?) out of it? Now, I just need to work on being less introverted so I can actually socialize and network with the people there.
