๐Ÿฉบ After graduation, I plan to enroll in a CNA program and hopefully transfer to CSU Fullerton to continue pursuing a career in healthcare.

๐Ÿ’ก What is one piece of advice you would give to future Mt. SAC students?
๐ŸŒŸ Get involved on campus! Join support programs, attend events, and take advantage of the resources available to you. The connections you make and the opportunities you find can truly shape your college experience in ways you may not expect.

๐Ÿ’š What is one thing you are most proud of from your time at the Basic Needs Resources Program?
๐Ÿค I am most proud of the impact I have been able to make on the students I have worked with. Being able to connect with students on a personal level, support them through difficult situations, and help them access resources has been incredibly meaningful. I am also grateful for the opportunity to serve as a panelist at one of the Basic Needs Summits this academic year, which was an unforgettable experience that allowed me to share my story and advocate for students.

๐ŸŒŸ Is there anyone you would like to thank or recognize for supporting you along the way?
๐Ÿ™ I would like to thank my dad and my family for their constant love and support throughout my journey at Mt. SAC. Their encouragement has helped me stay motivated even during the most challenging moments.
๐Ÿซถ I would also like to thank the friends I made while working at the Basic Needs Center: Camili, Breanna, Richard, and Kat. They helped me navigate the challenges of this academic year, supported me through difficult times, and taught me lessons that have helped me grow both personally and professionally.
๐Ÿ’› Lastly, I would like to thank Lorena and Rigo for their support and guidance. Rigo played a significant role in helping me achieve the honor of being recognized as a Student of Distinction, and Lorena has always been incredibly understanding and supportive of my academic goals. Their belief in me has made a lasting impact on my college experience.
