🌈🌈🌈From rainbow to deep garnet♥️♥️♥️

This color correction was a tricky one! Her hair had warm tones throughout with blue and violet still hanging on in the ends.

I started with a pigment-lifting treatment to gently break through the her grown-out rainbow color, followed by a full pre-tone to create a clean canvas. After 30 minutes of processing, I went in with a rich copper-violet blend to neutralize the cool tones and create this bold, dimensional garnet color!

Color corrections take time and patience—but the transformation is always worth it!

The month of May holds a special place in my heart because…

On 5/2/17, I officially started this journey, and it still feels like yesterday. I’m beyond grateful to call Meche not just my workplace, but my second home.

Through every transformation—both behind the chair and in life—this space, these people, and especially Kate, have been such a huge part of my story. Thank you, Kate, for believing in me and walking beside me through the good times and the tough ones.

Audri and James have grown up right alongside me in the salon, and I’ve grown into the stylist (and woman) I am today because of the love and support I’ve found here.

Feeling incredibly blessed to do what I love, with people I love, in a place that will always hold a special spot in my heart.

Here’s to the journey, the growth, and all the magic still to come!

Tested out a new gloss on this beauty using glosses from ! The color and shine were just👌🏼!

Nothing excites me more than a chance to color outside the lines! When someone sits in my chair and says, “I want a color that feels effortless at home,” my creative side goes into overdrive! Dimensional color is my jam, and I live for the moment when a client gets up, checks out their look, and says, “YAAS!” because, in my head, I’m cheering, “Yeah, girl! We nailed it!” 🙌🏼

We’re on session three of this beauty’s journey to embracing her natural gray, and let me tell you, she OWNS it every single time! Hearing her say, “I’m ready, let’s do it!” is so empowering. Watching her confidence grow each visit is exactly why I love what I do! 💯

Oh hey there! Something fresh, fun and funky for the Fall, because peek-a-boo’s are still a thing!!❤️ The best part of capturing this photo is the small rainbow reflecting off her freshly highlighted blonde face frame! Or could you not tell?!?😉

It’s been such a fun adventure with this transition! We’ve talked about her going gray for a while now, and we’re finally making moves. Baby steps, right? 🖤

This first pic is our latest service. We’re blending in her older highlights as she dives into this gray-blend journey. I had to break up that rich brown I’ve been coloring her with for 8 years! This round, we added lowlights to match her previous color and just a sprinkle of highlights to keep it in that salt-and-pepper vibe.

Now, in the second pic (taken 5 weeks ago), we started with some face-framing pieces and highlights around her natural part. Just easing her into the full gray blend, taking our time to keep it soft. Got her as light as her hair would allow, and then we toned it with neutral and cool shades to help tame some of the warmth.

Loving seeing the progress each time we meet up and she knows it’ll be a little warm for now, but she’s all in!
