Last week’s Founders’ Innovation Day was a great event!
Thanks to our clients and friends Nancy Kalish, Founder of Rule Breaker Snacks, and Mumbi Dunjwa & Vuyo Dunjwa, Founders of Naturaz, as well as Joan Trammell, Naturaz VP of Sales, for your company, comradery, collaboration - and comedy.
Thanks to all involved in bringing this event and the 200+ people who attended it together, including ECRM/RangeMe's Wayne Bennett, Sarah Davidson, and Joseph Tarnowski, and retailmediaIQ's Jeffrey Friedman and their teams.
It was great to meet and learn from buyers from leading retailers including Walmart Amber Bynum, Wakefern Pat Mooney, Sprouts Farmers Market Brody Burk & Madison Robertson, 7-Eleven Matthew Bunevich, Target Le'Spencer Walker, GNC Roberta Townes, and CVS Brian Eason, as well as Bridge CEO Rohit Mathur, Sawaya Capital Partners Teddie Townsend, Founder of Health & Her Gervase Fernandes, Founder of Cheers Brooks Powell 🍻 and Founder of Happy Coffee Craig Dubitsky.

Naturaz is at an inflection point.
So glad to be be a part of it all!
Together over the last couple of years we have rebranded Naturaz, made inroads into major retailers and distributors, and raised $1 million in growth capital.
Even more remarkable, all of that $1 million raise came from the greater Philadelphia area.

Companies founded solely by women receive less than 3% of all investment capital according to many sources, including Harvard Business Review.
And for women of color it is a much smaller percentage yet.
We will be closing our round by the end of September (Q3) 2024 and invite investors to reach out if interested in joining us on this exciting journey.

It has been a while again since we last posted, but we are very proud to share our recent work with our friends at Aahana's Naturals on their branding and packaging redesign.
Bill had been introduced to founder Sonal Khakhar a few years ago, and joined her team of advisors. We then set about positioning the brand for growth in collaboration with her team, including our long-time friends and collaborators, Jeff & Hillary Canner and their team at CRG (http://crgup.com/)
Our redesign includes a new brand mark, a vibrant color palette balanced with bold black and white elements, real and natural ingredient images, and playful, organic graphics.
Together these new brand assets evoke convenience, nutritional value, and the vibrance of their native India, as well as the origins, great taste, and many healthy benefits of Sonal’s delicious, traditional Khichdi Lentil Bowl recipes.

It's been a while again since we last posted, but we are very excited to share this!...
Congrats to our friends and clients, Mumbi and Vuyo Dunjwa, on the launch of our recent Naturaz brand refresh.
Our redesign was launched on Fourth of July weekend, and was introduced at Cosmoprof last week to an exciting and overwhelming response from leading retailers.
Our rebrand is as vibrant and energetic as Mumbi and Vuyo are themselves.
And as invested partners in their continued success, we can't wait to see - and help create - what's next!

This past year has been a big one for all of us - and has forced us all to realize what matters in our work, in our personal lives, and everywhere in between.
It's been a while since we last posted - but in truth, it's because there's been too much activity and excitement behind the scenes.
2021 marks our 25th year in business. Over the years we've had the opportunity to do some amazing things...including witnessing some of our friends and partners grow beyond expectation. And that is most true this past year or so.
We've been working with our friend, the brilliant Nancy Kalish and her Rule Breaker Snacks for a few years from an early stage, and watching her mission and her safe and delicious products flourish – particularly this past year - has been a highlight.
Bill is an equity partner and member of the board of directors, and our group designed the packaging that now -

✔️ was spotlighted on Instagram by Kristen Bell
✔️ appeared on Shark Tank a few months ago
✔️ was selected by Bimbo Bakeries USA as an investor & partner
25 years in, we've been lucky to work with amazing people, brands, and products - and there's more still to come.
