Your family history can tell us a lot about your health.

Genetic testing can help identify inherited risks for conditions like breast and ovarian cancer, giving you and your provider more information to guide care. For some patients, that may mean earlier screenings, closer monitoring, or a more personalized long-term plan.

It does not mean something is wrong. It means you have the chance to be proactive.

At Generations OB/GYN, we can help you understand whether genetic testing may be right for you based on your personal and family history. Our team is here to answer questions, explain your options clearly, and support decisions that fit your needs.

If you have concerns about your family history or want to learn more about genetic testing, call our office to schedule an appointment.

Not all bleeding is “just part of your cycle.”

If your periods are suddenly much heavier, lasting longer than usual, showing up between cycles, or happening after menopause, it’s time to check in with your OB/GYN. Abnormal bleeding can have many causes, from hormonal changes and fibroids to polyps or other underlying concerns.

You know your body best. If something feels off, you do not have to wait it out or push through it on your own. A conversation with your provider can help you get answers, rule out serious issues, and find the right treatment for your needs.

If you are experiencing abnormal bleeding, schedule an appointment with Generations OB/GYN. We are here to listen, evaluate, and help you feel confident in your care.
