CVMA® LA 6-8 Chapter Meeting Recap

Great chapter meeting at Springfield AMVETS Post 68. We had the chapter together, welcomed two guests — a fellow CVMA® member from another chapter, Brandon Boone, and a potential new member — and proudly patched in our newest Auxiliary member, Christy “Sassy” Carroll.

The meeting went smooth and productive. We completed all chapter business in one hour, reviewed recent successes including our bike raffle ticket sales, discussed future meeting plans, and took time to support our own. Prayer requests were sent out for three members, and the chapter passed the hat to help raise funds for care packages for them.

Upcoming dates:

July 19 — Next chapter meeting at Springfield AMVETS Post 68
July 25 — CVMA® State meeting at the Paragon Hotel
August — Meeting location TBD; currently looking at a restaurant ride followed by a meeting
September 20 — Chapter meeting at Boats’ house

HOUSE is also planning a Father’s Day Sunday ride to Abita for lunch, so keep an eye out for details on that.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, handled business, supported the mission, and took care of the family. That is what this chapter is about.

Rain or shine... we Ride to Remember.
6th Annual McFlirt's Memorial Ride is in the books.
Today we gathered together not only to honor and reflect on the fond memories of our fallen brother, but to continue the legacy for which he started years ago by paying his respects to a lone marker hidden away in a subdivision park.
