1. Benefit/Fundraiser: Sophia Miley - Diagnosed

with ALL Acute Leukemia - Angels Touching Lives will be hosting a LPSA Soccer Tournament and all proceeds go to the Miley Family.
2. Benefit/Fundraiser: Terry Chamberlain of PSI - Diagnosed with Breast Cancer - Angels Touching Lives in conjunction with her employer PSI will be hosting a Jambalaya Plate Dinner with Veggie & Bread Pudding $7/ea on 10/30/12, we will have a parade of prizes tickets are $1.00/each or 6 for $5.00. All proceeds go to the Chamberlain Family.
3. Benefit/Fundraiser: Trae & his sister, Anna, were involved in car accident and suffered severed head trauma. Their Mother is a Single Mom and school teacher, we are going to do a benefit for this Family.
4. Benefit/Fundraiser/Make A Wish: for child Jake Michael, he wants to take a trip to NY to see Mr. Gummy, we are not Make A Wish Foundation, but we are going to do our very best to raise money so his Mom can take him and make this wish come through! Cookie Bake Event: Angels Touching Lives in conjunction with Kairos NPO, have baked & delivered 60 dozen of Cookies & Finger Painted Christian Messages to Kairos via Mike Yazbeck for this program. COMPLETED 10/2/12

More untruths from the Fleming Campaign ! This is why we NEED to vote.BLAKE MIGUEZ !

I have refrained from commenting on Treasurer Fleming’s attempts to capitalize on Legislative and gubernatorial successes, but I think this post is the final straw for me.

From trying to take credit for local capital outlay projects to now trying to take credit for the state’s surplus, John Fleming is in no way shape or form the reason for our quarter of a billion dollar surplus.

The state’s surplus is a result of Governor Jeff Landry’s tax system overhaul, the Legislature, both Democrats and Republicans, implementing the policy along with responsible budgeting by both bodies and the administration.

I’m glad the Treasurer shares in our collective enthusiasm and look forward to the Governor and legislature bringing future successes to our state.
