First Parish Congregational Church

Saturday Night @ First Parish continues with our next event, a Pizza and Puzzle Night! Join us at First Parish on Saturday, May 16 from 5-7 PM at 1 Church Street in Wakefield where ingredients will be provided for you to make your own pizza! While it's cooking, and throughout the evening, work individually and in teams to solve a variety of different types of puzzles, including logic and trivia puzzles. We'll enjoy our culinary creations together. The event is free, but freewill donations are appreciated!

All are welcome, including children of all ages, and we encourage you to invite a friend or neighbor to come with you! We hope to see you there!

First Parish is continuing to accept donations to help those in need! If you are looking to donate any of the accepted items, please bring them to the backdoor of the church on Saturday, May 2 between 10am-12pm! Ring the bell, and one of our volunteers will be happy to assist you!

First Parish’s church family volunteers invite you to come and enjoy a
free hot breakfast Saturday, April 18, from 9-10 AM! The meal will include scrambled eggs, sausages, hash browns, assorted breakfast rolls and beverages.

Free non-perishable food from the church’s food pantry will be available.

The breakfast will be served in the downstairs dining room which is most easily reached by using the parking lot entrance at the back of the church building.

First Parish is the large stone church located at 1 Church Street, Wakefield, just up from the playground at Lake Quannapowitt and across from the town gazebo.

We're excited to introduce our new series of monthly fellowship events: Saturdays @ First Parish!

We're kicking off this series with square dancing, so dust off your boots and join us for a fun, free evening of square dancing at the church! Whether you’re brand-new or just need a refresher, our caller will guide everyone through the steps. Expect plenty of laughter, great fellowship, and a meal of chili, cowboy cookies, Texas tea punch, and more.

Please be reminded of the event to support Bob Bl**er, who is dealing with the aftermath of a house fire. We will gather to support him tomorrow on Saturday, March 7th from 12pm to 3pm. Let's have fun and lift the spirit of our brother in Christ!

Our Spring Community Dinner is on “Palm Sunday,” March 29th at 2pm in the church dining room!

Dinner is free for those in need, the elderly and the lonely. A ham dinner will be served.

All are welcome. Bring someone along.

Join us this Saturday, February 28th at 2pm for a special piano concert! We have been blessed with this beautiful grand piano, and we'd like to honor this gift properly with a dedication concert put on by our music director Joo Hye Kim. Light refreshments will follow. Attendance is free! Any freewill donations will go to those in need in the Wakefield community.
