Continuing on with my entryway project! I’ve been working on refinishing my stairs for a couple of days. Here’s a tip: Don’t trust painters tape when painting risers! No matter how much you tape and how careful you are the paint will bleed and leave you with a frustrating mess. 😡 After researching, scraping, and experimenting with caulk I’m thrilled with the results! 😊 All that’s left is to shine up and seal the treads with some polyurethane! Final results coming soon!

Day 2: Got the last pieces of sheet rock in place and FINALLY tore up the carpet. Man it felt good!!! I’ve hated that carpet since the day we walked in the house!

Our entryway wasn’t exactly up to code and our girls were overcoming our temporary child proofing solutions so it was time to build a half wall, keeping them safe and my stress level down. Day one complete! Looking forward to working toward a prettier and much safer design!

Getting ready to start a big project that I’m hoping will be fun to follow! To prepare, we had to do a little reorganization. I consolidated my daughters closets to make some extra storage space and I’m loving the final result!

Two more tables finished and delivered! Loved seeing the excitement these moms had over the opportunity to have a neat and tidy living room (at least while their kids are sleeping)! 😉
